Showtime’s Steve Farhood on Pacquiao-Mayweather
By Brent Matteo Alderson

Former Editor & Chief of Ring Magazine and current Showtime analyst Steve Farhood is confident that that the super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will happen in the very near future and in an exclusive interview with FightFanNation.com, Farhood commented, “I don’t think there’s any doubt Mayweather-Pacquiao will get made with the kind of money that fight is going to generate. There’s not a doubt in my mind that the fight will get made and it will be their next fight. There is so much money for both guys that they will figure out a way to split it.”
And even though the proposed dream fight hasn’t been made, Farhood, who has previously picked Pacquiao in a number of the Filipino legend’s super-fights is going with Mayweather in this one and noted, “It’s really early and it’s very hard to pick against Pacquiao, but I’m going with Mayweather. He’s the bigger guy and he’s so much better defensively than anybody Pacquiao has fought and I feel that he will do enough offensively to win and frustrate Pacquiao to win and not get hit too much so I’m picking Mayweather on points!”
